IDontknow is a project initiated in 2007, during my first research at the Ex.e.r.ce training in Montpellier. I wanted to mention all the students, without their physical presence, so I chose to draw them from the trombinoscope, despite the fact that I can’t draw. I then extended, finding identity photos and portraits on the internet to observe. The protocol is simple: a thick A4 sheet of paper, a fountain pen, and the obligation to assume the many errors of proportions and framing due to my inexperience and poor drawing skills. The drawings can be displayed as prints during public drawing sessions.
